Aviation: American Express has partnered with the Old Course at St Andrews to offer golfing opportunities to its cardholders

American Express has partnered with the Old Course at St Andrews to offer golfing opportunities to its cardholders. The partnership allows Platinum and Centurion cardmembers to book a round of golf at the historic course. The Old Course is over 600 years old and has hosted the Open a record 30 times, including next year.

Tee times will be allocated by ballot, with registration opening on different dates for Centurion and Platinum cardholders. Successful applicants will have seven days to purchase the package, which is for two people and requires a handicap of 36 or under. Both primary and supplementary cardholders can apply, and cardholders from 16 countries are eligible.

easyJet Pulls Out of Leeds Bradford Airport

easyJet is pulling out of Leeds Bradford Airport, with its final flights scheduled for various dates in November and January. The airline has decided to use its aircraft more profitably elsewhere, despite the potential for easyJet Holidays bookings.

The final flights will be from Málaga, Palma, Paris Charles de Gaulle, Barcelona, Belfast International, and Geneva. The airline analyst @SeanM1997 on X has confirmed the dates for these flights.

Regent Porto Montenegro Leaves IHG One Rewards

The Regent Porto Montenegro hotel is leaving IHG One Rewards at the end of the month to join the One&Only group under the 'Rare Finds Resorts' brand. The hotel, which is located in Kotor Bay, has been in need of refurbishment and has been criticized for its towel system in the spa.

Redemption bookings are not guaranteed to be honored, but cash bookings are secure. The hotel is joining One&Only Portonovi and SIRO Porto Montenegro as Kerzner-operated hotels. The Venezia wing of the hotel is being renovated immediately, but there is no word on what will happen to the rest of the hotel.

This is another blow for the Regent brand, which has gone backwards since IHG acquired it. Only two Regent hotels remain outside of Asia, and there are rumors that the InterContinental Amstel in Amsterdam may switch to the Regent brand after its refurbishment is complete.
